Watkins Glen State Park: Watkins Glen State Park is the crown jewel of the Finger Lakes State Parks. Within two miles of its start, the glen’s stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls all along its course. The gorge path travels over and under waterfalls. Journey through the spray of Cavern Cascade and take a break to take in the view from rim trails overlooking the gorge. Enjoy the picnic area and fishing in nearby Seneca Lake or Catherine Creek, which is renowned for its annual spring run of rainbow trout.

Glenn H Curtiss was the Father of Naval Aviation. Located on Route 54, 1/2 mile south of the village of Hammondsport, New York. Dedicated to the memory of pioneer aviator, Glenn Curtiss, the museum contains a priceless collection relating to early aviation and local history.

The National Soaring Museum is an aviation museum working to preserve the history of motorless flight, and promotes through education, a greater knowledge of soaring, aeronautics, and related physical sciences for everyone.

Wings of Eagles Discovery Center has a historic aircraft collection on display for public viewing that covers a range of technological and cultural advances in aviation and aerospace dating from World War II to the present. The exhibits in our collection allow us to make real world connections with our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) education programs.

Watkins Glen International: Watkins Glen International (aka “The Glen”) is an auto race track located near Watkins Glen, New York at the southern tip at Seneca Lake. A longtime host of the US Grand Prix, today the track hosts road racing for nearly all classes, including Sports Car Club of America, NASCAR Busch Series, Formula Libre, Formula One, Formula 5000, International Race of Champions, Champ Car, NASCAR Winston / Nextel Cup, World Sportscar Championship, Indy Racing League and more.

Tanglewood Nature Center & Museum: Explore 9 miles of scenic trails in the Finger Lakes area. Begin your journey at the Nature Center, which allows you to experience the natural beauty of the Chemung Valley firsthand. The museum features 43 species of live animals, interactive exhibits and a comfortable library for birdwatching and reading. The land around the trails abounds with animals and birds.

Farm Sanctuary: This 175 acre New York farm is nestled among rolling green hills and forests in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York and is located next door to Sugar Hill State Forest, just west of Watkins Glen. Farm Sanctuary’s New York facility cares for hundreds of animals and welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The “People Barn”, a unique visitor center, is filled with displays, literature and videos. Tours also include the “Kids’ Korner” and gift shop where visitors will find a variety of items, including books, videos, posters and vegetarian snacks.
