Watkins Glen State Park

Watkins Glen State Park is the crown jewel of the Finger Lakes State Parks. Within two miles of its start, the glen’s stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls all along its course. The gorge path travels over and under waterfalls. Journey through the spray of Cavern Cascade and take a break to take in the view from rim trails overlooking the gorge. Enjoy the picnic area and fishing in nearby Seneca Lake or Catherine Creek, which is renowned for its annual spring run of rainbow trout.
