Kids love popsicles and when you’re RVing it’s a great time to give them some tasty treats. You can still make them, even in an RV. Here are some new ideas for an old favorite
Buy your favorite yogurt and transfer it into plastic popsicle containers or paper cups. Put craft sticks into the top of the plastic molds or the paper cups and place these on a baking sheet in the freezer.
Allow these to freeze overnight and serve the next afternoon for a delicious healthy taste treat. Kids will love them and you’ll love that they’re healthy.
Buy some extra bottles of your favorite juice and pour it into your favorite popsicle molds or paper cups. If using popsicle molds you can use the plastic sticks that come with them, if desired, or allow to partially freeze and place craft sticks into the center. Do this also with the paper cups.
Allow these to freeze overnight and serve the next afternoon. Choose juice that is all natural and doesn’t have added sugar to ensure that you’re serving up a healthy treat for your little ones.
While this may sound way out there, many moms swear by it. Buy either chocolate, strawberry or regular milk. Pour this into the popsicle molds and use the sticks that come with them or place into paper cups and allow to freeze partially and then put craft sticks into the center.
Allow these to sit overnight and serve the next day. While chocolate and strawberry milk tend to have a lot of sugar, many moms make their own versions by using chocolate or strawberry syrup in regular milk to control how much sweetness is in it. Kids love these and will probably even enjoy helping you make them.
